On which side of his mouth will Mr. Baird speak next!

What a difference a day makes - in this case, a few days. In his December 4 statement, Mr. Baird said that "a rise of 2° in the earth's temperature as a result of human activity contributing to global warming, simply put, is unacceptable." Then a few short days later, he seems to be on a mission to destroy any chance of real results coming out of Bali. In the rankings, Canada placed fourth last at 53 for worst performance in 2007 for combatting emissions, China came in at 40th place and the United States was second last at 55. Are we fighting for last place!!



To this government, it's oil first, uranium second, economy third, friends fourth, .... wait a minute, of course, it's probably getting re-elected that's first. Let's all remember the actions of this week when it comes time to vote.
